These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Flori mobile app and related services.

By creating an account, accessing or using Flori, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Flori.

1. Flori services

Flori provides plant identification, plant care recommendations, reminders, diagnosis assistance, AI-powered information and related features.

Features may change, be updated, become unavailable or require a paid subscription.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Flori.

By using Flori, you confirm that you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms.

3. User accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate account information.
  • Maintaining the security of your account.
  • Keeping your password and authentication information confidential.
  • Activities performed through your account.
  • Informing us if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not create an account using another person's identity or access another user's account without permission.

4. Plant and AI information

Plant identification, diagnosis results, care recommendations, weather-based suggestions and AI-generated responses are provided for general informational purposes.

Flori does not guarantee that:

  • A plant will always be identified correctly.
  • A diagnosis will be complete or accurate.
  • Care recommendations will be suitable for every plant or environment.
  • AI-generated content will be error-free.

Flori is not a substitute for professional botanical, agricultural, veterinary, medical, toxicological or emergency advice.

Do not consume, touch, cultivate or administer any plant based solely on information provided by Flori. Contact a qualified professional or local emergency service when safety is at risk.

5. User content

You retain ownership of photographs, text and other content you submit to Flori.

You grant Flori a limited permission to store, process, transmit, reproduce and analyze that content only as necessary to operate, secure, maintain and improve the service.

You must not submit content that:

  • Violates applicable law.
  • Infringes another person's rights.
  • Contains malicious software.
  • Is deceptive, abusive or harmful.
  • You do not have permission to use.

6. Subscriptions and digital purchases

Some Flori features may require a subscription or digital purchase.

Purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. Prices, currencies, taxes, billing periods, trial terms and renewal information are displayed before purchase.

Auto-renewing subscriptions continue until cancelled through your store account settings.

Deleting the app or your Flori account does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

Refunds are handled according to the applicable Google Play or Apple App Store policies and applicable law.

You can use the "Restore Purchases" feature where supported.

7. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Attempt to disrupt, damage or overload Flori.
  • Circumvent security or access controls.
  • Reverse engineer the service except where permitted by law.
  • Use automated systems to extract data without permission.
  • Use Flori for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purposes.
  • Abuse AI, scanning, subscription or support systems.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another account.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, shared and protected.

By using Flori, you acknowledge the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual property

Flori, including its software, design, branding, graphics, text and service content, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use Flori for its intended purpose.

10. Third-party services

Flori relies on third-party services, including authentication, cloud hosting, analytics, artificial intelligence, weather, notification and payment providers.

Your use of certain features may also be subject to the terms and policies of those providers.

We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

11. Service availability

We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Features may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, updates, network problems, third-party outages, security issues or circumstances outside our control.

12. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to:

  • Protect users or the service.
  • Investigate fraud or abuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations.
  • Address serious or repeated violations of these Terms.

You may stop using Flori at any time and request account deletion.

13. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Flori is provided "as is" and "as available".

We disclaim warranties that are not expressly required by applicable law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Flori and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages resulting from use of or inability to use the service.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the service, business practices or legal requirements change.

The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
